Brenda

It's hard to imagine an Arcana without the serene elegance of Brenda Bynum, but after 25 years that day has come. Brenda will be devoting herself to her own artistic pursuits 7 days a week now, a decision which we fully support, but which will leave a gaping absence at Arcana. Brenda's deep knowledge,
terrific calm, and - of course - her beauty and style are only a few of the inimitable qualities that we and our clients love about her and we will miss terribly. We wish her nothing but the best as she follows her correct path. We love you, Brenda!

John Waters

In the Broward Palm Beach New Times

New Times: What's on your nightstand?

John Waters: Ooohh. Well, my nightstand is little. But, let's see. There is the book Joe Dallesandro: Warhol Superstar, Underground Film Icon, Actor. A little pad that I always have here for ideas, there are a couple books. Three books that I'll probably look at tonight, the British book about the film Victim, a Mike Kelley catalog called "Photographs/Sculptures," and a photography book of really extreme photographs that I haven't read yet by Billy Monk. I just bought them at my favorite art book shops in Los Angeles called Arcana.
