RICHARD PRINCE: GOOD REVOLUTION / DON'T BELONG - 7" 45 RPM LIMITED EDITION MULTIPLE
(PRINCE, RICHARD) (PARKETT). Prince, Richard. Zurich, SWITZERLAND: Parkett, 1992. First Edition. 45 RPM Single + Sleeve. Artist Multiple. Near Fine./Fine.. PRINCE, RICHARD) (PARKETT). Prince, Richard. Zurich, SWITZERLAND: Parkett, 1992. First Edition. 45 RPM Single + Sleeve. Artist Multiple. Near Fine./Fine.. One 7 inch, 45 rpm vinyl record in white paper sleeve. This double-sided single contains two compositions arranged and performed by Richard Prince entitled "Good Revolution" (1:46) and "Don't Belong" (1:46). These were recorded and mixed by Soul Coughing's Mark Degli Antoni at Harmonic Ranch in New York in 1992 as for use as a component of Prince's limited edition multiple entitled "Good Revolution" for Parkett number 34. Issued in a numbered edition of one hundred copies, the artwork consisted of a gold-plated version of this record, engraved plaque, and chromogenic color print mounted in a framed plaque that mimicked an RIAA gold record award. THIS IS NOT THAT ARTWORK, NOR IS IT SIGNED. This is a standard, unplayed 7" 45 rpm black vinyl single suitable for play on a turntable. A most handsome hors commerce example of this exceedingly uncommon item that was presented by the artist to a colleague at the time of its issue housed in its original unprinted white sleeve showing some mild surface wear.
