Published in 1968 by Dieter Roth's longtme collaborator Edition Hansjorg Mayer, this is the double issue comprising numbers 3 and 4 of "Poeterei" - the innovative Swiss artist's late sixties journal devoted to Poetry and Poesie. The first part consists of a single typographic text by Roth in German printed by letterpress on heavy handmade paper incorporating an original collaged postcard fragment that has been annotated "D.R. 68." beneath that in green ink. The second portion contains one hundred and sixty-three brief textual framents by Rorh also printed by letterpress on a much thinner stock. The volume is features green flocked endpapers reminiscent of Marcel Duchamp's "La Mariee mise a nu par ses Celibataires meme"i bound in full light grey full leather. A most handsome example of this exceedingly uncommon item limited to two hundred and thirty copies NUMBERED (70/230) AND SIGNED "Diter Roth" in green ink on the rear colophon, as issued.
