This is Claes Oldenburg's self-published eight page artist's book cum program of whimsical "Ray Gun Poems" drawings reproduced on blue and yellow paper issued in conjunction with the landmark January 1960 exhibition of the artist's "The Street" environment at New York's Judson Church. A spectacularly bright, well-preserved example of this exceedingly uncommon item (entry 6.2 on page 58 of Richard Axsom and David Platzker's "Printed Stuff: Prints, Posters, and Ephemera by Claes Oldenburg - A Catalogue Raisonné 1958-1996") - only a single copy in the MoMA reference library is cited in OCLC WorldCat - additionally INITIALED "CO" as is ofttimes Oldenburg's practice in pencil at the lower foredge corner of the inside rear cover.
