This slender six page brochure is the very first exhibition catalogue to document Pasadena-based artist Helen Pashgian's cast resin "Light and Space" paintings of the seventies. Published in conjunction with a 1975 show at the Fine Arts Gallery of the University of California, Irvine, in it noted curator and collector Melinda Wortz discusses these new perceptual works in depth. A glossy white, most handsome example of this exceedingly uncommon ephemeral item that was the only printed documentation of the event showing a tiny bit of brown spotting along its spine.
