Orders

While we make every effort to keep our online listings current and up to date, we are an open shop, and all items are offered subject to prior sale. In the rare instance that a title ordered and processed from our website is no longer available, we will refund your payment immediately.

By placing an order on Arcanabooks.com, you represent that you are eighteen (18) years of age or older, and are responsible for all charges incurred.

Our website payment processing utilizes the services of third parties; including Braintree Merchant Services and PayPal.
We reserve the right to cancel any order these processors advise us are fraudulent.

All items shipped to a California address or picked up at our shop are subject to 9.5% State Sales Tax.

For payment via check, cash, or bank transfer, please contact us directly.
We’re happy to discuss financing / lay away terms for your purchase.

Shipping

We typically process orders the day they are received, and ship by the next business day. Please note that we do not ship Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Postage prices are calculated based on weight, value, destination, and carrier service.

If you require expedited shipping, courier service, or your order is time-sensitive, please contact us directly for shipping quotes and arrangements.

Time in transit varies by location. Shipping durations are as quoted by the websites of the US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, or an alternate chosen carrier.
We are not responsible for any delays due to weather, customs inspections, etc., after your package has been delivered to the carrier.

Any International duties, taxes and/or customs charges levied by the country of import are solely the customer's responsibility,
and are not included as part of the sale price or shipping cost.

Parcels valued over $100.00 will be insured automatically. In the unlikely event of loss or damage, we will assist with a claim for indemnification for any insured parcel. If you would like us to insure a parcel valued at under $100.00, please contact us in advance directly to request insurance.

Return Policy

Books purchased on-line are returnable for within one week of receipt ONLY if our online description differs substantially from the actual condition of the item upon arrival.
You must contact us BEFORE initiating any return.

Please read our full description for each item and if you have any questions at all, please ask them before placing your order.

In-store purchases are returnable - at the discretion of the management - for store credit only for 10 days after purchase.

We take your privacy very seriously. We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site.
We only have access to information that you voluntarily provide us with via email or other direct contact from you.
We will not give, sell, lease, or in any way make available the information you supply us with to another organization or individual.

Credit card payments on this site are processed by Braintree, a division of PayPal.
